Step into the fast-paced world of short-form video with REEL READY – Content Creation Workshop, a dynamic session designed to equip creators with essential tools, techniques, and storytelling strategies to produce high-quality, engaging reels using Nikon mirrorless cameras.
This hands-on workshop will be led by SUZETTE PEACHIE BAYONITO https://www.instagram.com/suzette_peachie, a talented Filipina content creator based in Dubai. Her creative journey began early through poster-making competitions, eventually earning a degree in Architecture. In 2008, her move to Dubai and its inspiring skyline sparked her passion for photography, which evolved into videography. Her storytelling journey gained international recognition when she was shortlisted in the HIPA Filmmaking Category in 2018, proudly standing as the only female finalist.
Today, She shares her artistic voice through both stills and motion, believing deeply in creating content that speaks to the desires of the heart.

1. Storytelling for Short-Form Content
-Planning your video with a clear message (hook, value, CTA)
-Understanding your target audience and platform-specific trends
-Structuring your content: attention-grabbing openers, engaging middle, and strong ending
2. Shooting Techniques with Nikon Mirrorless Cameras
-Choosing the right settings for video (frame rates, resolution)
-Eye autofocus and subject tracking in video
-How to use movement (handheld or stabilizers) to enhance storytelling
3. Audio & Lighting Fundamentals
-Capturing clean audio (external mic use, placement tips)
-Natural light vs. artificial light setups
-Creative lighting to enhance mood and professionalism
4. Practical Shooting Session
-Filming solo or with a subject
-Creative angles, transitions, and movement
-Backgrounds, props, and storytelling through the frame
5. Introduction to Editing Reels (or Presentation Walkthrough)
-Editing tools: mobile vs. desktop options
-Syncing to music, trimming for pace, and adding text overlays
-Color grading basics
-Export settings and format optimization for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
